Mirage Wadi Rum Camp
Located amongst the magnificent scenery of the Wadi Rum protected area, Mirage Wadi Rum Camp offers an atmospheric Bedouin-style experience with some modern comforts in the heart of Jordan's stunning red desert.
The camp's 14 basic black and white Bedouin themed tents and the 10 deluxe tents with private bathrooms are raised from the sands and feature a wooden floor, proper beds with mattresses, pillows, bed linen and comfortable duvets. Two side windows allow you to enjoy the view but also ventilate the tent during hotter days. At nightfall, candles light each tent, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
Mirage Wadi Rum Camp's common areas are comprised of 2 long Bedouin tents, where tea and hearty home cooked meals are served around a flickering campfire. Shared washroom facilities have two showers, four toilets and three basins. Solar panels and candles rather than an eclectic generator are used to provide lighting and hot water.
Overlooking Mirage Wadi Rum Camp is a beautiful natural rock terrace: the perfect place from which to read, relax, or simply contemplate the astonishing landscape of Wadi Rum.
